BRANDING DESIGN
Berry Freight Services Branding Design
Berry Freight Services, LLC contacted us to design their logo to be used across all media, from print, to web and apparel. They needed a modern logo that featured a minimalistic "B" to be prominent in the design and chose to go with a smooth Blue (PMS 312c) to Purple (PMS 266C) gradient transition as their main colors. From there, we chose to use strong sans-serif fonts to push the design in an assertive direction, going with Metropolis and Bebas Neue.
When producing products, such as embroidered apparel, that are not able to produce full color graphics, the logo is able to be printed in 1-2 colors using either the Blue or Purple and the text in either whit or black, for simplicity.
PACKAGING DESIGN
Shear Pointe Hair Bonding Strip Packaging
Shear Pointe Hair Restoration Center was in need of inserts that go into poly bags for their hair bonding strips. With over twenty different kinds of inserts, they needed a way to identify which style of product, along with which curve for each one. The next issue was to include a quick and easy way to enter them at the register when the customer checks out.
Luckily, their inventory system includes a way to generate and export scannable barcodes. All we had to do was import each unique barcode into our designs and we were set. The last thing we needed to include was contact information on the back of the card, incase the customer had any questions while at home and needed instructions on how to use it, as well as a reminder of where to order more.
BRANDING DESIGN
Ryan Page - The Guy In The Bowtie Branding Design
Ryan Page, a sales person at Hank Graff Chevrolet in Davison, MI was new to the dealership and quickly wanted to set himself apart from the rest. He came up with the idea of always wearing thee giant bowties and we couldn't have loved the idea more. We wanted to push that idea and came up with the idea of having his glasses and signature smile right above the bowtie in the logo. With it, we paired the slogan "The Guy In The Bowtie".
With his business cards, we wanted to keep the branding centered on the bowtie, but since he was selling at Graff, we had to include their logo so customers would make the connection of what he sold and where. To keep costs down, we always went with a black and white design, but kept the cards unique by printing them on tri-layer 38 pt cardstock (white-black-white) so his would stand out above the myriad of other cards his customers may have gotten at other dealerships.
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT
Busy Addults Website
The Busy Addults Podcast needed a website to introduce who they are, the hosts, capture listener emails for email campaigns for each new episode, and to publish each episode to the page so everyone could listen, even if they don't use apps, such as Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
Since their main content is about Dungeons & Dragons, we made sure to include the dice, the miniatures used and any other elements taht are recognizable by their listeners to better connect with them. Since each episode is hosted on a different platform, each episode on busyaddults.com needs to be posted as a blog and then the "media link" must be given to the audio player on each individual post, which we've made as simple as a button press.
VisitPRINT MARKETING
JetStream Hydrawise Tri-Fold Brochure
JetStream needed a half-fold brochure to market their new Wi-Fi Irrigation controller, by Hydrawise, to their existing and future clients. This system would allow JetStream to monitor, in real-time, the status of each of the customers irrigation systems for irregularities and perform most maintenance from the office without having to go on site. This marketing piece would be sent to customers at the beginning and end of each season if they didn't already have the system installed.
The brochure needed condense all of this information down into a few headlines, while showcasing the low friction and ease of use for the customer. Since JetStream isn;t just about irrigation, we used images of overall landscaping from their past jobs while tying them into the main point of the Hydrawise system.
